The Bigfish restaurant increased its popularity rapidly after Raila Odinga’s visit at the restaurant, alongside Martha Karua during the 2022 general elections campaigns. Bradox Osumo noted that the visit increased the visibility of the restaurant and has led to numerous people visiting the restaurant, taking pictures and sharing them online on their timelines and this made the Restaurant as one of the most active brands on social media. Bradox also noted that, because of its increased popularity, Bigfish Restaurant has now served governors, celebrities and other high profiled individuals.
